DIY

The purpose of the Do-It-Yourself (DIY) component of the project is to help you reduce your plastic. This is an optional piece for students interested in going beyond basic requirements. 

​DIY Ideas

  • Toothpaste
  • Body scrub
  • Lip balm
  • House cleaners
  • Utensil holder for lunch
  • Bulk bin bag
  • Beeswax wrap cloth
  • Bento bag for lunch

Not acceptable DIYs

Do NOT make things that uses plastic. These ideas do not qualify for the DIY part of the project: 
  • Converting a plastic water bottle into something else.
  • Making something from duct tape.
