Stabilo Woody 3-in-1 - These thick wooden pencils can serve as whiteboard markers, markers and art pencils. If you use them as whiteboard markers, you'll need a spray bottle with water and rags to wipe the board off. They can also write on desks and windows to write messages.. They are blendable like oil pastels and when water is applied, they are watercolor pencils. They will last for years. They do come with a plastic sharpener. :(
Auspen - These refillable, nontoxic whiteboard markers can be refilled dozens of times. Make sure you buy extra ink.
Green Classroom Bundle - This classroom bundle has 144 pencils, 12 sets of colored pencils and a notebook. Pencils are FSC certified and natural colored. Tell them to not wrap the notebook in plastic.
Forest Choice Pencils - These naked pencils have shaving that can be composted. However, it does have a plastic eraser that is not compostable.
Forest Choice Colored Pencils - These are naked pencils and the shavings can be composted. The bottom 1.5 inches has the color painted on the pencil so that would be trash.
Metal sharpeners - Get some baby food jars so that shavings and sharpener go in that.
Binders & Notebooks
ReBinders - The cardboard covers can be replaced. The cardboard is not super sturdy.
Naked Binders - These are a bit more expensive then ReBinders and are sturdier.
Naked Folders - These are Forest Stewardship Certified and 97% is from post-consumer waste.
Decomposition Notebooks - They have lots of cool cover designs, 100% post-consumer waste.
